During the year we have medical students, and other health care professionals come to practice and gain experience.
We also regularly have medical students attached to our practice. There is a notice in our waiting room explaining that a student may be present during your consultation.
We hope that if you might find the presence of a student in any way embarrassing or inhibiting, you will inform the receptionists so that you will be able to see your doctor or nurse alone.
The medical students come from Warwick medical school and find the experience invaluable and provide excellent feedback to the practice.
They will often take a consultation under the direct supervision of one of the doctors and sit in and observe also.
We also find a number of the patients feel the medical student (under supervision) consultation very interesting and informative.
